LAW ENFORCEMENT

GETTING STARTED

Delaware Law Enforcement for Special Olympics is one of the organization’s largest grass‐roots public awareness and fundraising vehicles. Their year‐round commitment includes the presentation of medals at all competitions and volunteer efforts in a variety of capacities, as well as several fundraising initiatives.

Medal Presentations

Members of law enforcement from across the state have a presence at all awards ceremonies, regardless of the size of the event. In Delaware, the honor of awarding medals is only bestowed to members of law enforcement.

Volunteer Opportunities

Special Olympics Delaware offers various volunteer opportunities for members of law enforcement throughout the year.

Fundraising Initiatives

Delaware Law Enforcement for Special Olympics celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2021. Over the past 35 years, Delaware Law Enforcement has raised over $9.2 million for Special Olympics Delaware.
