The camp features opportunities for attendees to enjoy sports and traditional camp-type activities including swimming, arts & crafts, and non-competitive games and activities.

MORE ABOUT SUMMER CAMP
Special Olympics Delaware’s overnight camp is a three-day, two-night camp held at Camp Barnes, which is located near Bethany Beach.
Special Olympics Delaware Camp Barnes is designed for athletes 14 and over who are currently active in our sports programs and competitions.

Volunteer Camp Counselors and Cabin Leaders Needed for Summer Camp
(14+ years old – no upper age limit)
Counselors are responsible for supervising (along with the Cabin Leaders) the 6-10 athletes assigned to their cabin. Counselors are expected to attend and participate in all activities and are expected to stay overnight in the cabins with their group.
